This bartender takes offense and thinks Im haggling him, and threatens to have me removed from the bar, all the while ignoring my pleas. I then try to ask where the bathroom was, because at this point Im thirsty enough to drink tap. I try to buy water and this guy goes about making drinks, ignores me, avoids eye contact. I asked for water, and get a staunch you have to pay for water. Ive never felt so disrespected at a gay club. Do not go here if youre a lesbian or have a vagina. Maybe they could offer drink specials on slower nights to bring in more people. They are the same prices you will pay on the strip for a standard well cocktail. My biggest issue with Piranha is the drink prices. The bartenders were a mix of shirtless men and women who all were strait.I came here on a Sunday night. They did have gogo boys and girls that came out, but again I didnt see many people engaging with them. I didnt see many people dancing in either room. The night I went the front dance floor had dance music and the back room had latin music. On the main dance floor there are a few places for people to enjoy bottle service which you have to reserve.Keep walking through a hallway to the back and you enter a second dance floor with another bar.

The look of Piranha on the inside reminds me of a cave. After you get through the intense security (pat down and metal detector), the front door opens to the dance floor. Piranha gets busy after Midnight and stays open late. Its nondescript building hides whats inside. The sound systems were on point, the DJ’s were banging, the drinks were strong, and the piranha patrons were definitely worth being consumed by as we worked our way through the club.Piranha is a gay club in Las Vegas. All in all: the space was big, but felt intimate because of its multi-room layout.

Another full drag show ensued on the main stage later in the evening while we had drinks from the bar above then we hit up another dance floor in a different, first-floor room where the DJ was spinning hot, Latin flavor all night.

And I mean it, they’re talented, some are actually professional circus performers / dancers, killing it for some extra cash on the side. It was a bit less crowded and from that vantage point you also really got to see the fit, high-quality go-go boys that they rotate from room to room at a pretty rapid pace. Spent quite a bit of time up there, because it was a great perch for people-watching. Made my way through the pleasantly packed, diverse crowd of gays (with some straight partygoers in there too), to meet my friends they were already on the second floor of another room on a balcony-level that overlooks a different dance floor and a stage. When I got in, a drag show was already in full force in the first room, with quality queens who knew their lyrics taking turns fiercely climbing all over the scenery, the floor, and death-dropping in the center of the room. $10 cover (the club doesn’t accept AmEx, so just a heads up). A bit of a line at the door, but it moved quickly.

Hit up Piranha Nightclub last night (Saturday) and it was lit. Not pick favorites to be professional to. Covid-19 regulations shouldn't be an excuse to go hard on black LGBTQIA guests, patrons, locals, tourists, etc. Just buying full price drinks, dancing, and socializing. Of the black LGTBQIA communities' lives matter. For not just straight buff 50 Cent lookin' or Beyonce lookin black people matters. Ask George Flloyd, amongst many others in centuries. No more bigot as heck security staff or law officals in America. Piranha has been around too long + is beyond fun, energetic, long nights, Vegas nightclub flashy fun to have such mean vultures. Or last be happy that you got hired and pretend to not be a bigot. Be nice or transfer to a bigot str8 bar where your passion for prejudice of hate is pretty much obvious in your demeanor and unproffessional double standards of behaviorals - and straight up blunt actions are deplorably displayed. Especially if they're paying full priced drinks. Many other staff members are LGBTQIA friendly, but others are male security team members aka night club security who belong at a more rougher neighborhood heterosexual nightclub instead of eye balling, side eyeing, and constanlty verbally probing black LGBTQIA human beings. Beyond touristy and somewhat not so much automatically respectful security staff around the entrance and main bar floor.
